In 2022, Alamerica was acquired by Carver Financial Corporation, parent of Carver State Bank, an MDI and Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) with a 96-year track record of service. Carver is committed to helping Alamerica be a strong mission-driven bank focused on serving underserved residents of Birmingham and the State of Alabama.
Birmingham native Jason Eppenger joined Alamerica as President & CEO, leading the institution into a new era of financial strength and sustainable growth.
